Who we are
The Davison Young Musicians Foundation (“DYMF”, “we”) is a not-for-profit foundation based in Cambridge, UK. We are responsible for any personal information you send us. You can contact us at secretary@dymf.co.uk.
Using this website
- We do not set cookies and do not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers or embedded social media feeds or videos.
- Fonts and images are served from this website itself, so visiting a page does not send your details to third parties such as Google.
- Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure and working. We do not use these to identify visitors.
- Links to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Eventbrite take you to those services, whose own privacy policies then apply.
When you email us
If you email us, we use your name, email address and anything you include to reply and to deal with your enquiry, donation or sponsorship. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running the Foundation and responding to you, or taking steps at your request. We keep emails only as long as we need them and do not share them except where needed to deal with your request or where the law requires it.
Award winners and performers
With their agreement, we publish award winners’ names, instruments, awards and photographs on this website and our social channels as a public record of the Foundation’s work. If you are featured and would like something changed or removed, email us and we will act promptly.
Donations
If you donate by bank transfer, we see your name and reference on our bank statement. We use this only to record and, if you wish, acknowledge your gift.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
